Hunter Gaffney

General Manager

Hunter Gaffney is the General Manager of The Daniel Island Market & Eatery (also known as The DIME), a new specialty café and market and manager for The Kingstide both from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Hunter moved to the Lowcountry to attend College of Charleston, where he double majored in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism.  

Upon graduation and a prestigious internship with Hilton Hotels in Prague, Czech Republic, Hunter accepted a position as Event Planning Manager at Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA, where he continued to hone his managerial skills. In 2019, Hunter relocated to Boston, MA to serve as the Event Operations Manager at the W Boston, managing the in-house restaurant and lounge and assisting in executing the hotel’s events and functions. In 2020, Hunter made his  way back to Charleston to join The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, overseeing daily operations  and managing social media for The DIME. 

As General Manager, Hunter is excited to connect with the Daniel Island community and partner with other local businesses. In his free time, Hunter enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with friends, and exploring new places.
